I mainly meditate in the Burmese (normal cross-legged, I can't do full-lotus and half-lotus makes me unbalanced) position and just count the breath. That's all. 1-10 and start again, focus on nothing but the breath, and watch the thoughts but don't become engaged with them. Just acknowledge them and return to the breath. | I sometimes count breaths. Sometimes I focus on an image, or on nothing. I spend a lot of time focusing on and pondering nothing, and impermanence. Sometimes I try to focus on sending positive energy to an individual or the world...
