Brave guy!!!! I served my time in the army and have seen action in Panama, Iraq, and Haiti.

As far as my solution for Iraq, take the gloves off. Screw the rules of engagement and when in doubt empty the magazine. Hostiles holed up in a building, call in the Willie Pete, and heavy ordinance. Screw shock and awe, just hit them with everything.

You don't eliminate the enemy by bombing them from the Air. You eliminate the enemy by bombing them from the air and following up with search and destroy missions. Key word being destroy. You break the enemies will to fight by making the cost for success far too high, and the cost for failure certain death.

The way we ended the 2nd World War in Europe was by attrition, at the end, the German army was forced to put into its ranks children and old men.

War is the controlled use of force to reach a political end. Sometimes, the controlled force must be uncontrolled. No limits, no worries, just plain naked aggression.

Conservatism, I repeat is not an ideology. It does not breed fanatics....But if you want men who seek, reasonably and prudently, to reconcile the best in wisdom of our ancestors with the change which is essential to a vigorous civil social existence, then you will do well to turn to conservative principles
