 I understand that perspective. But then even living together can suck. Though there seems to be a less complicated means to dissolve of the relationship then.
I personally would not ever get legally married again. I don't believe it carries more weight or value by having the government acknowledge whatever love I might give and receive in a relationship.
I do like the idea of ceremony and symbolism though and would no doubt want to do something to mark the coming together with meaning. Like putting down a stake so to speak.
