I was surprised to learn, a few years ago, that it is not illegal in my small Southern town for a woman to go topless. We had a rash of girls riding around town on weekend nights in convertibles or pickups and flashing their breasts for Mardi Gras beads.
The police were ticketing them for riding in the backs of trucks or not using their seatbelts. Or in some cases, they charged them with creating a public nuisance or some such charge.
But the Indecent Exposure laws specifically state that the genitalia be exposed to constitute a violation.
It was all rather amusing. Right now America spends $700 billion every year on foreign oil. That's our money going overseas when it could be staying here. We have to stop this.
