I bet the reason you came here is for a better life, well that is why we our over there, to help people get a better life, sure some of them don't want us over there, but many more do, and if you listen to the reports coming out of the mideast, they (the arabs) are killing childern and i am talking about the goverment, hanging them for just flirting around. I don't like the way they are treading the woman over there, and I don't like the FACT the you liberals play it off so y'all can down our troops.
For Afghanistan, I believe the US had domestic and world support for the removal of the taliban government. It was clear that they were harbouring the terrorists who planned the 9/11 attacks. That support quickly abated when we then went to Iraq based on lies from the US president. Give the US people a true cause and you will see the support of the entire nation.

The US is fighting an asymmetric war now in Iraq. The enemy is fighting the US to take advantage of their strengths and our weakness. It is ugly, but that is war. There is no reason for the US to be in Iraq now. They fight because the US is there occupying their land. Bring the troops home and their cause is gone.

Maybe the arab states are not so good to THEIR citizens, but what makes the US responsible for that? It is not the US's duty to impose its morality on other sovereign states via military force. For every innocent the US kills the number of our enemies grows.

My reasons for coming to the US are personal, If the people in the arab lands want a better life, they can work for that themselves.
