This could fall two ways....
1) The agents voilated the man's rights because he was over the age of 18 and purposly hacking his computer without permission or warrent was an invasion of privacy and 4th Ammendment
or
2) The agents had every right because the computer was in the fathers home running on his power, internet, under his roof so he could claim partial ownership to it.(MAYBE)

Either way I agree this IS an interesting case but by reading the article to its fullest the 4th ammendment will hold up and all evidence found on the Hard Drive will be lost from the courts for good, most likely giving this Child Pred a second chance because the article stated that the authorites didnt have enough evidence in the first place to charge him.

Once again this is a case where cops and the authorites oversteped their boundaries and will pay the price by letting another criminal go.
