My last post was incomplete. It's easier just to give a link to more information. Maybe humans are the chief cause of global warming. Some graphs are inaccurate in showing what appears to be an exponential rise in temperature. Runaway warming is in question. Catastrophes that would result from global warming (man-made or not) are doubtful. Some people would assume that it makes sense to scare people into using less fossil fuel. I don't agree with that. Wars over petroleum reserves should be enough reason to reduce consumption. We obviously need alternative forms of energy. I can't morally condone any attempts to deny the third world the use of their own fossil fuel resources. We still haven't figured a way to run industry purely on alternative energy in our own country. Why should we be telling third world countries that they shouldn't develop their own industries or have electricity in their homes because of CO2.
