I've never been around a nicer group of people, much nicer then a lot of other 'Christians' I've known. When my father-in-law died, the members of my MIL's hall took care of everything for her, the flowers, the arrangements, everything except the actual burial and personal things (insurance, etc).
It is part of their beliefs to share what they believe is the good news (Jesus actually tells his disciples to do this in the NT). If you do not wish them to come to your door, just tell them, and they will leave, no questions asked.
And another thing. JW's know the Bible, inside and out. Don't ever try to debate what the Bible actually says. I doubt there are many out there that have read the Bible cover to cover. My husband has, twice. |
