WorldNetDaily: Saddam general: WMDs in Syria
I've been saying this for a while. WMDs are a defensive measure. We have them in order to intimidate people into mot attacking with theirs. Any sane world leader would never attempt an attack because they know that we would turn their country into a giant ashtray. That's why Israel never used theirs. That's why Iran hasn't used the ones you think they're building. That's why we've never had a nuclear, chemical, or biological attack on U.S. soil. Who cares if he had WMDs? So does everyone else.

There was absolutely no motivation for him to do anything, especially considering him and Al Qaeda were not on good terms. Anything said otherwise is a lie, because they just plain hated each other. Saddam was a despot, and he would NEVER put weapons into the hands of rogue factions in his country. That's just plain stupid for any despot to do.
