Amnesty Tax
How about a lifetime tax for those granted amnesty in the U.S.?

In my opinion, everyone benefits from it.

Most of these "illegal" immigrants are good people and deserve a chance at a better life. Following the current legal process to gain entry into the U.S. offers a VERY slim chance of approval. I say we broaden their chances, let the good ones prove their worth, and they can pay extra tax every year for it. That way, they are given their rights, their freedom, an opportunity for a good life, and the government cashes in as well.

Now, of course, the bad ones (criminally active) can be sent away and kept out for life.

But the good ones deserve more of a chance than we are giving them.
