I stumbled across an article today, about a book which is coming out tomorrow - "The Political Brain," by Drew Westen. The central idea of this book is that it's emotion, not reason, that plays the key role in how people choose their leaders. Westen has been sought out as a consultant by the major Democratic presidential candidates.
