All they did was tell me it's much easier to be an officer when you enlist first than if you go as a civilian to OCS. Makes enough sense, but they wouldn't give me any info on it. I'm not sure if it's because they didn't know or simply weren't supposed to talk about that. Either way, I don't plan on joining before I finish college, and I quickly lost interest and told them I'm going to college first and foremost. That's when taking the initiative becomes "harassment". I told them I wasn't interested, and they show up at my work to tell meto join. I'm sure I let some sign of maybe being close to signing, but if a person says outright "I'm not interested" there's a point where they should stop worrying about their quota and realize they're really bothering someone. I have nothing personal against recruiters as a group; this was just my personal experience with the recruiters I've had contact with.
