Juries may be prone to mistakes, however, this claim that we may execute an innocent person is just another holy grail. Opponents of a death penalty would ensure that the world knew the name of any innocent person put to death.
So much in this story about witnesses recanting testimony, coercion by police, and then in almost a quick hindsight, they mention how Davis was also convicted of killing a second person that night. Now, the reason he got the death penalty was because he killed a cop and in many state that qualifies as a special circumstance. I am interested in learning more about the second person Davis killed.

I would be interested in learning more about the source that you are using to determine that 60% of the executions are white inmates.
