Marijuana was used for centuries as common medical practice. But like so many other things we have adopted from other cultures, the ultra-conservatives have bastardized and villified it's use. I do find it a tad ironic that those who often lunch over martinis and scotch are debating the ill-effects of marijuana. We have reason to believe that man first walked upright to free his hands for masturbation.
