Basic services such as sanitation are lacking, the people want to trade in Dollars instead of Pesos, and children rush to any one speaking English begging for change. The difference between the rich and the poor is staggering, and there isn't a visible middle class.

We put caps on our immigration, which is understandable for our security, but a visit to Mexico a person would be hard pressed not to look through an illegals eyes for just a moment. I'm not saying that breaking the law is justified, simply understandable.

I've also been to Mexico, numerous occasions. And yes, I understand why they want to be here, just like I understand why many people from other countries want to come here, and have come here for centuries.

Shall we compare them to the Irish of the 1800's? Those people were STARVING to death, but had to sacrifice much to get on a boat and then get processed LEGALLY through Ellis Island. Or the Chinese that came here in the 1800's and were treated as little more then slaves.

Yes, I understand and sympathize with why they want to be here. No problem. But I don't think that the citizens of the United States should have to pander to their needs.
