All in all, I think that the age-old saying that "there is no crime without pre-existing law" will come into play here. If Vick can be charged with an actual crime, then so be it; he will have to face the penalty of that crime.The NFL should proceed from there if they choose to impose sanctions. I understand they have already instructed Vick not to report to training camp- I'm just waiting to see if this will bring about a legal counteraction from Vick's lawyers. |
