LOL! Yeah, that was pretty much my reaction too, and no doubt the silent reaction of a good number of senators on the floor that day.

But you can imagine the official feather-ruffling that would have gone on.

It would have become a scandal of some sort, I'm sure, and probably led to, oh, a Senate Ethics Bill being created.
