I DONE GOTS AN IDEA.
THEORY:
Using a separate computer that would act as a GPU for another computer.

The Beowulf Super Computer comes to mind. For those who are not familiar with that - its a son of crappy computers, hooked up together via network and runs on red hat Linux. These students set up the linux os to use all of the computers as one. the combined power is that of a NASA super computer.

there are many sub-theories as to getting this task accomplished.
one would be that there has to be a way to split up tasks between computers.

i dont know much about networking or graphics - when it comes to the physics of processors, im stumped. all i know is how to fix computers and build them.

so many questions arise as im typing this...
What is the difference between a CPU and a GPU? Other than their tasks. i mean structurally. do they do the same thing as a CPU but only for graphics?

while doing some quick research on wikipedia, i came across this:
"Multiple cards can draw together a single image, so that the number of pixels can be doubled and antialiasing can be set to higher quality. If the screen is parted into a left and right, each card can cache the textures and geometry from their side."
is this relevant to my theory? (im not even sure if you would call this a theory - maybe its considered more of a question)

IDEAS?
SUGGESTIONS?
ANSWERS?
POPCORN?
