Wow marc, you certainly have a lot of anger in you.. anyhow i'm a muslim and i can assure you that Islam is not your enemy...

we do have a common enemy if you would believe it. That common enemy are those who can only see their survival and success in the destruction of others.

Ultimately peace can only come when and if people believe that there has to be space enough for everybody.

You claim that my religion tells me to kill any infidels. Well as a believer i can tell that isn't true. In fact i would ahve a real hard time with that seeing as everybody from my mother's side is christian and everybody from the fathers' side as muslim.

Just as you have the KKK using the "american dream" as a justification for their racism, just as you have some white supremacists quoting the bible to justify their bigotry, just as you had catholic priests quoting the bible to justify the inquisition, well so too does Islam have its "adherents" that justify their actions by quoting the quran and hadith. Leave alone the fact that very often quotes from the Quran are taken out of context AND quotes from the hadith have no historical verification nor do all muslims agree on which hadith are true and which aren't.

Likewise Islam is a religion that consists of 73 (often conflicting ) sects and innumerable sub-sects. It is not unified nor is there agreement as to what constutues Islam. That is why you will find some radical islamists praising OBL and others condemning him.

How do you fight a belief? Do you kill any that LOOK like muslims? Or do you kill anybody that says they are muslim. How about those that happen to have been raised in a muslim environment.. and what sect of Islam is to be killed. For instance a sect like the Ahmedis are completely forbidden to resort to violence for religion. In the event of attack or persecution, they are told to like it or leave it ( leaving is ALWAYS an option ). No ahmedi has ever been involved or even suspected in any act of religious violence.. they are muslims yes, but are they your enemies?

Your hatred is obvious and clear cut.. but i don't believe your reasoning is solid. Quoting the bigoted opinions of others is no reasoning.. It is completely inaccurate for ANYBODY to claim to have found something that 1.2 billion people are in agreement on.

I should add that the bible too has quotes exhorting death and destruction to non-believers ( something the RRC is definately guilty of). Yet you realize that some nutjobs interpret that to support their racism and violence.. whereas most do not ( thankfully).

Likewise such is the case with Islam. If it were such a unified front that was in agreement about the US' destruction i can assure you that the US would already have been a dustbowl. 1.2 billion people that hold most of the world's oil AND have nuclear nations among them could have messed you up long ago. But thankfully the majority is NOT violent, which is why the oil still flows and your nation still survives.

I am not sure whether you are intersted in giving up some hatred, but i sincerely recommend it.. Your hatred is misplacedx and will do nobody any good.
