Kat. That's complete and utter B.S.
Everyhing in my experience, reason, study of religion and relationship with God tells me so.
Look at it this way. Let's ask three hypothetical guys what the central piece of furniture in their living room is, and what its primary meaning to them is.
Guy # 1: "That the couch. I sit there to watch movies with my kids."
Guy # 2: "That's the sofa. It's my favorite place to take naps and cudle with my wife.
Guy # 3: "That's the Davenport. Best spot in the house to nail the babysitter."
Now, which one of these guys is telling the ONLY truth?
The outward expressions and, sometimes man-made dogmas, traditions, rites and ceremonies attached to religion by men sometimes contradict one another.
The essense of religion is unity. If at first you don’t succeed – try, try again and then quit. There’s no sense in making a damned fool of yourself. – W.C. Fields |
