Another of the Reaganites has left us. Such a shame, Deaver was a good visual man for the President. It is a shame that CNN even in writing of his passing cannot do so without showing their liberal bend:

Quote:
To exert as much control as possible, Deaver steered the president away from reporters when he could, instead arranging Reagan in poses and settings that conveyed visually the message of the moment. Presidential news conferences were a rarity, which suited an actor-turned-politician who was at his best when using a script.
I guess those around CNN don't spend much time reading, such a shame, for they too have shown their ignorance once more. But what do you expect, unless it fits into their version of the facts, it will never be accepted.

Unfortunately for them, as Mulder would say, "The Truth is Out There" they just can't find it.

Conservatism, I repeat is not an ideology. It does not breed fanatics....But if you want men who seek, reasonably and prudently, to reconcile the best in wisdom of our ancestors with the change which is essential to a vigorous civil social existence, then you will do well to turn to conservative principles
