My sister went looking for a dog, and discovered Lucy. Boy, Lucy was a scared dog when she was brought out for us to look at. Three years later, she just loves attention from me, and sure loves doing the same with me.
I put my hand over her eyes and the play "peek-a-boo" game with her. She loves that.
I am sure that Michael Vick knows he made a terrible mistake in his role of dogfighting. I agree with one of the posters, feeling that Vick should work in an animal shelter, seeing that the pets need adoption into loving homes, especially when there are young children around to see the pet they would have, appreciate, and cherish.  | ================================================== =====
After we got our dog, the garbageman left the gate to our yard open and the dog got out. I had been watching for this since we got him. I always kept him inside on trash day. Well, one day we realized he was gone and at the moment the full impact hit us, the phone rang. A woman called to tell us she had found the dog about a block away. He had crossed the busiest street in the city. that's not saying much since I live in a quiet city and this is only two lanes each direction. Still, she said she watched him cross the street...in the crosswalk!
She didn't notice if he looked both ways. |
