It hasn't anything to do with paybacks for the Clinton scandals. It has to do with the politicizing of the Justice Dept. Gonzales never stopped being Bush's lawyer. And had no problem allowing any illegal activity the White House wanted, like warrantless wire taps on American citizens. And the fact that he lied under oath to Congress.
