You would probably associate better with Dennis Kucinich or Mike Gravel when it comes to Presidential candidates. 
In terms of left-right, Ron Paul is accurately depicted...but I would definitely put him more further south.
Me? I'm on a far off island. The closest thing to me is probably Ralph Nader in terms of Presidential candidates in the US. Even he's kind of far away. I'm probably closer to around Noam Chomsky's area...but I highly highly doubt he'll ever run for president!
