True. I just couldn't comprehend her attitude that I was not supposed to buy myself anything, just put it all in the bank to leave to the kids.

To follow that line of thinking, my kids would then be obligated to put the money I left them in the bank for their kids. And their kids would be obligated to do the same thing. And on and on and on.
