Wait a minute. You know, I've read the PATRIOT Act from start to finish. People keep telling me that we lost important rights to the PATRIOT Act, but can't point to even a single right they have lost. As far as high schools providing the phone numbers of graduating seniors, I've never even seen a hint of such a provision. I'm not saying you are wrong, perhaps I missed that part. So could you direct me to the appropriate section of the PATRIOT Act? I'll even help you out. The full text of the PATRIOT Act, as approved by Congress can be found here:

Now, I don't know what the big deal is here. I graduated from high school in 1977. Even then, recruiters had the names and numbers of graduating seniors, and most, if not all of us, got those phone calls.

How hard is it for a kid to say "Not interested, please don't call me anymore."? In the end, its just a phone call. No different than any other phone solicitation.
