Basic principals of law are based from religous laws...and based on your demeanor I am willing to bet you are alive because of them (et al "Thou Shall Not Kill").  | Religious laws were based on basic human needs and common sense. Religious laws were invented from this common sense, not the other way around. The basic principals of law would have existed regardless of any religious institution and therefore all religion is meaningless when applying it to reality.
