That's not "all" we are discussing though. There are a lot of issues on our collective plate right now. I pointed out a few of them. Heck, just recently it was dogfighting that had a lot of people up in arms. The nation has a short attention span and anything shiny will distract us from what's important. As for our countries' medical care issues and starving people...that's a problem that will probably never be solved. Either you raise taxes, which I don't agree with, or you will never have enough money to help people who have somehow lost the ability to help themselves or the offspring they have. As a child who grew up in a single parent home...if you can call a 4 room 500 sq/ft cinderblock duplex a home.. I understand some poverty. But I also saw my mom do what she had to do and we only accepted food stamps for less than a year. It may not be the children's fault, but just how much responsibility should the government accept? As we all know, abortions ARE legal.
