Of course, that's what makes the huge difference ... people who are funny.

They have gay jokes on both the shows all the time, usually crude and tasteless - and I've never been offended. The people who are writing the shows are funny.

When people here (no names, you notice) attempt being clever or witty and make gay jokes, they're NOT funny - they're smarmy, nasty, and vicious.

Maybe the whole issue isn't what is/isn't offensive; it's a simple matter of those who think they're witty and clever usually aren't.
