Occasionally, they screw up. When they do, if you've got money, you have legal recourse. If you don't, unless you can interest groups such as the ACLU, you're pretty well screwed. Granted, that's not 'fair', but that's reality. |
I didn't mean the question of custody in general.
I meant one parent deciding to "continue treatment or allow the child to die, THAT decision rests solely with the custodial parent." |
