And why do you assume that Jewish kids feel bad when their Christian friends celebrate Christmas? It's Rosh Hashana today and I feel no bitterness toward my Jewish friends!
Infact the schools around here are on holiday - I don't suppose the kids care why so long as they don't have to go to school.

Go back and reread my posts. We're talking about what goes on in the public schools. I do not assume that anyone feels bad when their friends celebrate something. I am talking about public schools promoting religion and you're talking about travelling. I am praising schools for providing a balanced, religion-neutral environment around holidays and you're complaining that I am hypersensitive. |
