One is not an alcoholic until one consumes dangerous amounts of alcohol.

Since only about 60% of male homosexuals and 0% of lesbians practice anal sex, that leaves 70% of homosexuals who do not practice this "more dangerous" form of sex.

Makes for a pretty weak analogy since 100% of alcoholics consume -- or have consumed if they have achieved sobriety -- too much alcohol.
