There are teachers though that will attempt to shove their own warped precepts down childrens throats. I believe when this happens they should be promptly fired.
My own son has a learning disability. A teacher would yell at him and degrade him telling him each day how stupid and retarded he was. People wondered why upon a drunken rage at 14 he stole the woman's car and totaled it.
He paid dearly for that misguided action that was led by an older 17 year old. My son paid the price and the 17 went scot free because my son did not belong to what they percieve as the proper religion.
Are children persecuted in school because of certain religions or different religion preferences? Absolutely. Which religion has control in your community or your school?
Faith should be taught at home or in faith based schools. Public schools on the other hand could study the histories of religion once children are old enough to grasp the concepts of what the difference of faith and organized religion are.
