Some people think that morals are only possible from a religious source. That couldn't be more false. In fact it only detracts from the purity of morality because religion is based on a lie about God. Basing morality around a lie only adds immorality and confusion in the world as can be seen from manifest destiny, intolerance against personal morality (homosexuals), intolerance towards other religions, condeming natural behavior such as personal gradification and sex, etc.

When you base morality around a lie you introduce immorality into your life.
