I never saw anything about multiple shadows.

What I saw was them saying that shadows that were of objects side by side were not parallel.

Also, things that they feel SHOULD be in shadow were not, and this is caused by reflected light. Just as when you are standing under a tree, are you in complete darkness? No. Because light is reflected off the surfaces around you. It is the same way, if not more so, on the moon.
