That's an effed up situation all the way around. I have so many issues with this story on both sides that I don't have time to post all of them.
How do you compare ropes hanging from a tree to actual assault on a person? They don't compare.

How do you not get at least a couple black potential jurors in that town?

If they wanted to protest the nooses they should have just kept hanging under the tree. Nothing illegal about that.

But then again it seems there is more to the story than we are getting on TV. But I guess in a town with only 3500 residents, all kinds of craziness can happen.
