That could be one possible solution, Knot; but I'm sure it would bring about the obvious result: that company now raises its prices, and laying off employees and will keep doing so until it can level out it's bottom line. But, let me get back to the original point of the thread. Do I think people (immigrants) should learn some rudimentary (at least) English? Of course. Nobody can convince me in any way or with any argument that doing so will be of any harm to anyone. It can only help.
