You are far too sensitive - try to relax and be more tolerant. But one does have to go to school, when there, a child should not have to choose between conforming to authority (in the form of teachers and administrators) expectations and conforming to parental expectations.

School is also about learning to love and get along with other people. There is no conflict in "expectations' from listening to carols! People cannot use the public forum to deprive others of their rights, whatever those rights may involve.

What rights do you think are being deprived by listening or singing Christmas carols???!??
Why? Ones freedom of religion does not depend on being able to promote it in the public square. Ones freedom of religion does not depend upon being able to force it upon others. | Again - you are not substantiating your assertions. How is anything being forced on anyone?
If your company takes Yom Kippur as a holiday do you feel you are being forced into Judaism?
It's amazing how eager you are to find fault on the sincere beliefs of others. |
