That's not what I said. I said I wasn't religious and didn't want to listen to that compass. As far as "society". Depends on what part of "society' you want to listen to. Considering during my 18-22 days were spent in 3 different countries, "society" was a very fluid concept. But, I never said anything about society, you added that not me. Homosexuality, pedophilia, and zoophilia, topics that I'll add, have all been parts of "society" at one time or another. Human sacrifice, child labor, and all kinds of things have been documented to be part of many "societies". And even among "religions" things happen we might not agree with. For example the polygamy and isolationism of the Fundamental Latter Day Saints church. So "God" is fluid in concept as well as what "He" says is "right".
I'm just trying to see why YOU had the right to flaunt society's beliefs. but gays who wish to marry do not. | Humans have 5 fingers, one head, and 2 legs and feet. There are two genders with specific body parts that we relate to sexuality. We can "say" that homosexuality is "normal". But "why" would we say that? I don't see any justification to support that. I don't see any "why" that would include homosexuality under the umbrella of "normal" but excludes other sexual deviant orientations. Calling the gay union a "marriage" would be akin to calling the sun the moon just because it's in the sky too.
This is my last post on this as it relates to homosexuality, since it is off topic here. Believe nothing, no matter where you read it, or who said it, no matter if I have said it, unless it agrees with your own reason and your own common sense.
