Your question is starting with homosexuality and working backward. While I start with what we know has a reason and purpose and go forward. It would be like asking "I have yet to hear a solid argument "why" men shouldn't have sex with sheep".

FX, I agree with you that homosexuality is probably defective, abnormal behaivor, and any attempts to deny that usually end up being hysterical exersises in denial.

However, the question then becomes is that defect harmful in the context of marriage?

My answer: So far, I haven't seen a good argument along those lines.

There's no good reason why certain mentally retarded people should be denied marriage, IMO, and mental retardation is clearly a defect.

So, if we allow retarded people to marry, why not allow gays?

There IS good reason why married retarded people should not be allowed to have/adopt/raise children.

So, the next logical question: Are there good arguments for why married gays should not be allowed to have/adopt/raise children?

My answer: Again. So far, I've not seen a good argument along those lines.
