But, when Palestinians elect who they truly want in their own free democratic self-determination (Hamas), they need to be punished.

Double standard anyone?

Heck, I'm all for promoting democracy, but when Bush is someone who doesn't necessarily respect democratic processes in the first place, even at home, it's kind of hard to advocate them abroad.
