That said, I think, after listening to the entire broadcast, that Bill is getting a bum rap this time. He is clearly saying that he believes that other white people have stereotypical expectations when they go to places or events that are predominantly attended by Blacks.

His "I couldn't get over" remark was an extremely poor choice of words. But it is not fair to characterize him as racist on the basis of that little snippet.

On the other hand, I think maybe white Americans should be offended.

Does Bill really think we all have our heads up our asses so far that we don't know that black people with good manners and nice clothes exist?
