9/29/2007 --> At 3:07 PM (EST), we were hit with an IP blast. Web site was recovered at 3:20 PM (EST)

FYI, I am notified instantly if the web site is inaccessible via e-mail. I had over 400 e-mails sent to me at 3:08 PM. It seems that 1 given IP was blasting the web site, causing the database to crash. I banned that particular IP on the server, and that seemed to have fixed the problem.

Luckily, I was in front of my PC when this happened!

This thread will be used only to discuss any network issues...
