Why interpret large letters as "yelling"?

We are all working with the written word, without the benefit of voice modulation or body language. Nobody knows who is yelling or whispering!

Large text is just another technique used to create emphasis, no different from emboldening, underlining or colours.

To be offended by large letters smacks of on over-eagerness to appear a victim.
