Large text is just another technique used to create emphasis, no different from emboldening, underlining or colours.
To be offended by large letters smacks of on over-eagerness to appear a victim.

It is generally accepted Internet etiquette. I am not surprised that you are unaware of that fact. Right now America spends $700 billion every year on foreign oil. That's our money going overseas when it could be staying here. We have to stop this.
