The energy crisis is not going to go away simply because we tap into our reserve oil. It will only go away if we either take oil from Iraq, note i said take not buy, or we learn to live with using less oil.
Now you're talking some sense.

The only problem I can see with taking Iraqi oil is the French and Russians are owed billions of dollars worth of oil (contracts with Saddam)<---which is also the reason why they did not want us to engage war with Iraq (Saddam owe's them billions).

Taking their oil would surely help the cost of the war and lower our debt dramatically. I say payoff the Russians with oil money and screw the French!
Got a problem with the French?
