ok well you have a fear that it could be corrupted. do you think its possible to corrupt a direct democracy, where the system is decentralized, transparent, and ideas and inititatives are supported or encouraged by smiles which count as votes? The ideas that recieve the most smiles would sit ontop of a totum pole of ideas and in a seperate area initiatives, where the volunteers would go and get engaged or informed, and than decide in which ways they can best contribute.
now i'm not arguing for an egaliratarian society. i think we should tear down the old cities because without buisness, their is very little to make them attractive to stay and live in. I instead would offer plans as would many people in an effort to create new cities, where people would live in higher concentration surrounded by wild habitat or community created gardens. ideas i have for these new cities are cities above the sea, powered by the tides, wind, and sun. underground cities mostly for sleeping. but as for social activity, we could create free zones where children could play all the best games uptodate and adult zones where people could freely socialize and play or whatever.
but as for the rural communites, i would hope that they could be encouraged to develop a relationship with the plant kingdom and begin to pray to the plants in their gardens. its been shown by a community in findhorn, scottland that we can cooperate with the plant kingdom and begin a dialog. read the book, the magic of findhorn. its a great book. |
