"But Argentina's judiciary has consistently disagreed, basing itself on the very nature of human sexuality as a procreative act. They repeated this reasoning in their latest ruling. "Stable homosexual cohabitation corresponds, as a personal decision for each one, to an option that is carried out in the sphere of intimacy," wrote the judges of the Civil Chamber Court F. "But marriage transcends the sphere of intimacy. The refusal to consider unions between people of the same sex as matrimony exceeds an exclusively sexual perspective.""

Common sense at it's finest. A great big DUH!!!

Irish government to introduce civil partnerships- from Pink News- all the latest gay news from the gay community - Pink News
"He confirmed that the special place of marriage in the Irish Constitution there would be no moves to legalise gay marriage."

I agree that should be the case. But this is weird...

"The government proposal is to set up a new agency to register partnerships, which could be formed by any two individuals who are co-habiting including family members".

Ewwkay.

The homosexual union should not be called a marriage. Ever.

THIS is "intolerance".
Commonwealth meeting could promote homophobia- from Pink News- all the latest gay news from the gay community - Pink News
"One MP, demanding a "clamp down" against lesbian and gay Ugandans, said that the international event, to be held in the capital Harare later this month, would be a good opportunity to "send a clear message that gays are not welcome in Uganda."

I'm off researching my home theater so I won't be around for a while. You guys enjoy my absence. I'm Fxated elsewhere.
You know it really doesn't matter to me if its called "marriage" "civil partnership" or "horse s^%" as long as I have the same rights with my partner now as I did when I was with a man. Yes we were "married" in Canada. That was our choice becouse we could have just signed the civil partnership papers.Yes I am going to live in the UK which has civil partnerships. Not becouse we want to live there but becouse we have too.All I want is my right to be with who ever I want to be with and to have the same right as any other family in the US.Yes some people think that without marriage rights we are second class.Well I have been second class all my life but I still had rights. To me the importent thing is "RIGHTS" and I will fight for that here in the US as well as anywhere in the world for whoever needs me to.I do believe in taking care of your own which means we need to take care of our own backyard before we clean up others, but I also believe that there are others in this world that can't take care of themselves and need our help.We have always said freedom for all. Now lets give that freedom to our own people and then go clean up other countries back yard. We can't do for others till we do for ourselves.
