I totally think we are "engineering" ourself into oblivion. It's a known fact that when you learn how to build something, the natural obverse is you learn how to dismantle it. From genetic research on cures to disease, to research on the human genome, any good that can come of any advances can be turned around and misused.

My belief system is based on the symbiosis of everything from the smallest atom to the forces that control the movement and structure of galaxies. It seems everything has a "system" that controls them...except humans. Nothing "controls" us as a species. We are going down an extreme self destructive path, and I don't think we have the intelligence/discipline to stop before we destroy our ecosystem.
