What I was doing, was not attempting to bring into discussion a point from an exactly crafted analogy, rather to bring into discussion that when a law is in effect, whether it is "fair" or not, we abide by it.

And when a law is not fair, we seek to have it changed. But not by sulking about how we "got screwed" by the government.
